Waterproof
To get a fabric waterproof you must coat or laminate a waterproof surface or membrane on the backside of the fabric. For our golf and skiwear we use very functional laminates. Our materials are at an extremely high water proof level. A water column of 5000 mm is seen as a medium level waterproof garment while ours can resist a water column of 15 - 20 000 mm. The shell fabric surface is also treated with a “DWR” - Durable Water Repellant Finnish to ensure that the outer fabric repels water.
Breathable
Breathability is a function-must for any sporty person. A breathable garment transports perspiration from the inside to the outside of the garment while keeping the larger sized rain drops on the outside with help of the waterproof membrane or coating. The breathable function helps you stay fresh for longer and provides a perfect inside climate. This is a very important function for waterproof garments and the combination of making a fabric waterproof, yet breathable is the key to a comfortable product. Breathability can be measured but here there are many different ways of measuring. Whatever method of measuring the breathability, our laminate iscores extremely high performance figures.
Water repellant
All waterproof breathable fabrics become waterproof through a coating or a membrane laminated to the fabric usually on the backside of the fabric. If the top side of the fabric becomes wet, the breathability will disappear. Therefore all such fabrics must be treated so that the fabric itself will be kept dry even if it by itself is not waterproof. A so called water repellant finish must be applied on the fabric. Our water repellant materials have been treated with a special finish – The DWR Durable Water Repellant finish to ensure that the outer shell fabric will be kept dry. This is a coating which needs to be reapplied after a number of washes.
Four way stretch system
Stretch in four directions gives the wearer that extra comfort and unrestricted motion. You just can’t get it with more stretch or responsiveness than this - a new definition of extreme elasticity. This improves the function in the garment allowing the bearer freedom of moving without restriction.
Wind proof
Windchill makes you cold fast and is something we definitely want to avoid. All our rain wear as well as our wind wear are windproof so they keep the wind away and the warmth inside.
Recco
All our ski jackets within the Off pist and Black slope range are equipped with Recco reflectors. Weightless devices mounted into the garment with the ability to save lives. In the case of an avalanche, the Recco helps the rescuing team to pinpoint its wearer’s exact location. This device does not need battery power and will work for as long as you’re wearing your jacket. Stay safe! www.recco.com
Pit-Zip
Nothing is more breathable than a pit-zip. Many of our ski garments are designed with a pit zip – a zip in the arm pit. Sometimes a pit zip is what's really needed to get that wind blowing through. On that day when the sun gets warmer than expected or the hike steeper than planned.

Waterproof breathable laminate
The laminate we use for the backside of our rainwear and our skiwear fabrics is totally waterproof and extremely breathable. On top of that it returns to its original shape after being pulled in any direction. This function enables us to laminate this waterproof & extremely breathable backside to very thin and light fabrics. That is the secret why our rainwear is so light, silent and stretchable. It feels like a sweater; still being absolutely waterproof and extremely breathable.
Tactel
Tactel is a nylon fabric which combines comfort and easy maintenance. Drying eight times faster than cotton, it is well suited for sportswear. It is also super soft and breathable but is yet very resilient and keeps colour very well.
S.Café
S.Café fabrics are fast drying, UV-protective and odour controlling. This pioneering invention is built upon the fact that ground and used coffee has the properties mentioned above. So a stain of coffee on your garment will actually be something you benefit from. The coffee grounds are reused and recycled. Polygiene
The downside of being an active person is the sweating. Well, maybe not the actual sweating but the smell of it. As a reflection of this, our first layer and intensive sports ranges have been treated with Polygiene, small silver ions with a natural ability to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria. H2Func
The H2Func material has a very special dense construction which makes the material in itself extremely windproof as well as water repellant. To even better this water repellancy, we have treated the fabric with DWR – durable water repellant finish.
LSLC
Long Staple Lovely Cotton is what we call the amazing material from which we produce part of our golf collection. Long staples is a sign of high quality cotton and that’s certainly true for this soft, comfortable and durable material.
Pima cotton

Thinsulate
As with any warming material, the heat effect is actually not so much in the fibres themselves but in between them! And the Thinsulate fibres being extremely thin, allows more air and more heating effect. On top of that the Thinsulate material is breathable, moisture resistant and can be washed using both a normal washing machine and dry cleaning. We are happy to use this branded heating function to warm you up!
Coolmax
Coolmax is a high performance material which moves perspiration away from the body and through the fabric, where it can evaporate faster. The specially engineered polyester fibres improve the wicking effect and create this amazingly functional fabric.
