Our clothes are meant to be worn outside. In beautiful landscapes, on high mountains and in dense forests. It would be stupid of us to spoil the very reason for the existence of our clothing: Mother Nature.

Since we are so close to the place where our products are made, we have a great possibility to really make sure that our products are produced in a sustainable way. The use of chemicals in our products follows a number of international laws and regulations.

We take pride in helping and educating our manufacturing units in taking those small steps that make a big difference. Both when it comes to the use of chemicals and the more ethical side of production. We have created a minimum standard level of our factories and a number of rules which all of our factories need to cater to. Our production units need to work towards being BSCI certified and many of them already are. The BSCI certification helps monitoring workers’ rights, safety at the work place and salaries. The BSCI Code of Conduct is the most commonly accepted tool for ethical work on the European market and all our factories have signed it.
